I hope you enjoyed a glorious holiday. Last year Buffalo 2013 turned out to be one of our best trips ever. We had a lot of new fathers and sons join us along with many regulars who have been going for years and years. Our desire always remains to leave no father and son behind. Over the trip's 19 year history we have had many of our areas best fathers and sons come and go. Some of their sons, now have sons of their own and will be joining us in another year or two. Wow!
This year our trip date, normally the 3rd weekend in April, has been pushed back to April 25-27, 2014 because of Easter. Hey, a few days extra of Spring can only help the water temp. Our trip registration will begin Sunday, January 12th @ 3:00 p.m. with our registration link going live on http://camptatum.com. Early sign up is important, should you hope to get a room with the Founder at our trip flagship motel: the Gordon Motel. Camp Tatum Travel makes all Gordon Motel and canoe reservations for our group. All other overnight accommodations must be separately reserved by trip participants. Our trip weekend generally secures all available cabins and motel rooms in the Jasper area. Many of our group have enjoyed sharing nice cabins throughout the county over the years and prefer it. As Spring is the area's busy floating season, I would encourage everyone to secure a reservation in the near future. Should you want one of the 18 rooms at the Gordon, then I encourage you to register on January 12th at 3:00 p.m.
Our annual father and son canoe trip is a memory making experience for every grandfather, father and son who attends. You just can't get that many great fathers and sons together in such a beautiful setting and not have a glorious time and make lifetime memories.
